Welcome to Longevity Deck. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

Medical Disclaimer

This app is for educational and informational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice. The content, protocols, and information provided in Longevity Deck should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Before starting any new health protocol, supplement regimen, or lifestyle change, you should consult with a qualified healthcare professional. Information We Collect

Longevity Deck is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal data to provide you with the best experience:

Anonymous Device Identifier: We generate a random, anonymous identifier for your device. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally and is used solely to enable app functionality.

App Usage Data: We store the following information linked to your anonymous device identifier:

• Which cards you've added to your personal deck
• How often you indicate you use specific protocols (days per week)

Optional Community Profile (NEW): You can choose to create a public profile to participate in the community comments feature. This is entirely optional and NOT required to use the app. If you create a profile, you provide:

• A display name of your choice (does not have to be your real name)
• An optional profile photo

If you create a profile, your chosen display name and photo will be publicly visible on any comments you post. You can update or delete your profile at any time. Without a profile, you can still use all core features of the app completely anonymously.

Photo Library Access (Optional): When you choose to share protocol cards with a photo or set a profile picture, the app requests permission to access your photo library so you can select a photo to include. We do NOT store, upload, or transmit your photos to any server except when you explicitly choose to set a profile picture for the community features. Photos are only used locally on your device to create a shareable image combining your selected protocol card with your chosen photo.

Camera Access (Optional): When you choose to take a photo to include with a protocol card share or for your profile picture, the app requests camera permission. We do NOT store, upload, or transmit photos taken with the camera except when you explicitly set them as your profile picture for community features. They are only used locally to create shareable images.

Optional Health Data Integration (HealthKit): You can choose to connect the app to Apple HealthKit to receive personalized insights based on your health data and the protocols you follow. This feature is completely optional and operates 100% on-device using Apple's private AI technology. Your health data is NEVER sent to our servers or stored in any external database. All processing happens locally on your device, and any synced data is stored only in your personal iCloud account, which only you can access. We have zero access to your health information. If you prefer not to use this feature, you can still use all core features of the app without connecting HealthKit.

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information (unless you voluntarily provide it in your optional profile)
• Location data
• Contact information
• Health data or medical information (HealthKit data, if enabled, is processed entirely on-device and never sent to our servers)
• Any data from other apps on your device

How We Use Your Information

The anonymous data we collect is used exclusively to:

• Sync your personal deck across devices signed into the same iCloud account
• Display aggregate statistics showing which cards are popular among all users
• Show average usage patterns to help users understand how others use protocols
• Enable community features (comments) if you choose to create a profile
• Display your chosen profile name and photo on comments you post (only if you create a profile)
• Provide personalized on-device insights based on your HealthKit data (only if you enable this feature—all processing happens locally)
• Improve the app based on aggregated usage patterns

Community Features and Public Information

The community comments feature is entirely optional. If you choose to participate:

• Your profile name and photo become publicly visible on any comments you post
• Other users can see your comments on protocol cards
• You can edit or delete your own comments at any time
• You can update or delete your profile at any time
• Your comments are not linked to your anonymous device identifier or personal deck data

If you prefer to remain completely anonymous, simply don't create a profile. You can still browse all cards, build your personal deck, and use all core features without participating in the community.

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your app preferences, settings, and all personal data are stored locally on your device. This data remains under your complete control.

CloudKit Storage: We use Apple's CloudKit service to store your anonymous deck data, usage statistics, and optional public profile information. CloudKit provides enterprise-grade security and encryption. Your anonymous usage data is linked only to your device identifier. Your optional public profile is stored separately in a public database if you choose to create one.

No Third-Party Access: We do not share, sell, or provide access to your data to any third parties. There are no analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers involved.

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data remains in CloudKit for as long as you use the app. When you delete the app from your device:

• All locally stored data is immediately and permanently removed from your device
• CloudKit data linked to your anonymous device identifier remains in our database but cannot be traced back to you
• If you created a public profile, your profile and comments remain visible to other users unless you delete them before uninstalling
• You can contact us to request deletion of your anonymous data by providing your device identifier (found in app settings)
• To delete your public profile and comments, use the delete options within the app before uninstalling

Children's Privacy

Longevity Deck is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The community features are not designed for or directed at children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

No User Accounts Required

Longevity Deck does not require registration, account creation, or login for core functionality. You can use the app immediately without providing any personal information. The app relies solely on your iCloud account (managed by Apple) for optional data syncing. Creating a community profile is completely optional and separate from the core app functionality.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party services we use are Apple CloudKit (for data syncing) and Apple HealthKit (for optional health data integration), both of which are governed by Apple's privacy policy. HealthKit data is processed entirely on-device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not integrate any other third-party services, SDKs, or tracking tools.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Use the app without providing any personal information
• Choose whether to create a public profile for community features
• Choose whether to connect HealthKit for personalized insights
• Revoke HealthKit access at any time through your device's Privacy settings
• Update or delete your profile and comments at any time
• Disable iCloud syncing in your device settings to keep all data local
• Request information about what anonymous data is stored
• Request deletion of your anonymous data
• Delete the app and all associated data at any time

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
